If you want your chili judge voice to be heard the tasting & voting will begin at 5:15 PM and all guests will vote for their top 3 chilis. The winner will be announced around 6:45 PM. If you arrive after that (and you are welcome to do so), you may eat chili to your heart’s content, while available, but the competition/voting will be over.
Please bring a side dish or dessert to share (if not submitting a chili). BYOB, but remember, no glass in the pool area. We’ll be showing a football game on a screen for your viewing pleasure. Game is TBA.

Flamingo Friday is back! Find the Flamingos, Find the Party! Join us for this family friendly event, where the host provides their driveway and the guests bring snacks to share. BYOB. No RSVP required. Come and go as you please. 5:30 – 7:30 PM. The first Flamingo Friday of the season will be on Friday May 19th @ 15001 Rhodes Circle, pool bands will be distributed at this event. The next Flamingo Friday will be on Friday May 26th at the Oak Hill Pool. (no glass near the pool please).

Oak Hill will be kicking off this summer with a newly renovated main pool and baby pool! Both pools have new interiors, tile and coping. Friday May 26 will be the official opening date of our beautiful new pools! Enjoy the new pools, however, keep in mind that the concrete has not been repaired (as well as some of the skimmers). As our budget allows, concrete repair work will be addressed.

Please join us for the Annual Oak Hill Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 15 at 9:30 AM at the Lion’s Memorial Shelter at Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park. This is the shelter located between the Foundry Church (formerly called Cedar Ridge Church) and the play area on the west side of Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park. Parking is available in the Foundry Church parking lot entrance off of Lackman Road, just south of 87th Street. We’ll hopefully enjoy nice weather and we’ll definitely have some Easter egg hunting, yummy treats and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Please RSVP by Wednesday April 12 to [email protected] so that we can make sure to have enough eggs to hide for everyone. With your RSVP please include how many total are attending, and the total of how many will be hunting eggs and their ages (so that we can have the appropriate number of eggs hidden at age suitable locations).

Please join us for the Annual Oak Hill Holiday Party on December 3rd from 6-11 PM. This adult only progressive holiday party has guests rotate through our neighbors’ homes for appetizers then gather at a final home for dessert. Guests will bring an appetizer to the first home they visit – providing enough for all rotations. Cost is $15 per couple/$7.50 per person, payable prior to event.

Pool Bands. If you are unable to attend Flamingo Friday on May 20th, the pool is scheduled to open on May 28th so please stop by to pick up your bands from 9 AM to Noon on opening day.
As a reminder, pool bands are ONLY for residents aged 12 and older living in the household.
If you are unable to pick up bands during the scheduled distribution times, you can contact Tia Schnieders to schedule a pick up time.

Oak Hill HOA will provide the main food and non-alcoholic beverages, while the neighbors provide sides & salads. This year we’ll have a dessert food truck providing shaved ice!
Activities include a bounce house, a balloon artist, a visit from the Lenexa Fire Department & Police Department (depending upon traffic calls, etc.)
