Ash Tree Issue

 In News

An insect destructive to Ash Trees, known as the Emerald Ash Tree Borer (EAB), has been spreading through upper parts of the country, it now progressing as near as Wyandotte county Kansas.  The infestation is of concern to the Oak Hill community with its significant population of Ash Trees found in yards and lining many neighborhood streets.

The Homes Association is engaged in evaluating measures that could be extended to our neighbors in helping to deal with the issue.

Find more information on the EAB situation on the Lenexa City website http://www.lenexa.com/parks/trees_ashwalnut.html as well as other on-line resources.

Please see photos below to help identify the Ash tree.
